Disposable Nitrile gloves are made from nitrile butadiene, a synthetic rubber, and are resistant to oil, fuel, greases, chemicals and solvents (excluding ketonic/acetone solvents). They do not contain latex so there is no risk of a reaction from anyone allergic to latex. They have a longer shelf life compared to latex gloves and nitrile is three times more resistant to punctures than latex, however once the glove is punctured it will tear completely.

Nitrile gloves offer excellent snag, puncture, cut and abrasion resistance making them a great choice when body protection is paramount. Nitrile is close to latex in fit, feel, dexterity and durability, but is more resistant to oils, fats, solvents and chemicals, making them ideal for the chemical industry, tattooists, veterinarians, laboratories (not surgical), photochemical industry, agricultural or pesticides applications, meat processing and medical applications.
Another benefit of nitrile gloves is that they are the most effective in breaking up electrostatic charges and contribute fewer particles to contaminate the work environment for use in cleanrooms.
